Christian has been leading Professional Services Teams at Navis for over 10 years. During his time at Navis Christian has managed and overseen hundreds of projects from small to large multi-million dollar contracts. During his time at Navis Christian was able to develop the Professional Services team delivery excellence to be recognized by SPI research as one of the Best-of-the-Best Professional Service Organizations. Christian focused on an enhanced customer engagement model with a collaborative and digital solution based on Salesforce Community Cloud and 3rd party solutions like DocuSign, Conga Composer and FinancialForce PSA, replacing a large set of dysfunctional and disconnected solutions.
The professional services team at Navis is a matrix organization of more than 150 Project Managers, Consultants, Software Developers, and Trainers. During his time as VP of Services Christian was responsible in September 2018 for closing a major services deal with COSCO, creating a joint Center of Excellence (CoE). Christian is responsible for the rapid growth of the Services Organization by establishing new business models and service offerings. Christian was responsible for launching Navis 360 Managed Services and signing the first contract by Navis hosting N4 in the Cloud. At the same time, Christian implemented a new Professional Services Automation Solution

During his time in Dubai Christian build the Professional Services team of experts in the Middle East to become one of the most impactful teams in Navis. With Christian as Project Director the team successfully implemented N4 for the first N4 time at a Semi-Automated Terminal at Abu Dhabi Terminals. In 2013 Christian did oversee as the Project Director the system integration implementation of N4, SAP Warehouse Management, Kalmar Smart, Automated Gate, and other components at the SABIC Jubail Portside Logistics Facility (PLF). In 2015 Christian was responsible for closing the services deal with HHLA Hamburger Hafen Logistiks AG to implement N4 at their 3 terminals CTT, CTA, and CTB.
For over 14 years Christian was part of several organizations at IBM, spanning from the IBM Storage Division, IBM Global Business Services, and IBM Technology Consulting Services.
Christian was leading Technology Consulting Programs for the IBM Global Business Services organization at the Executive level within the Automotive Industry for Mercedes, BMW, Magna, Volvo, Schaeffler, and Ford
Christian was in 2003 part of the leadership team establishing IBM Engineering & Technology Services (TCS). Under my Leadership, IBM E&TS closed and delivered two phases of a $125 Million technology contract for a smart telematics E2E project. I subsequently managed the Multi-Million Delivery Program for the Container Tracking Program, IBM Secure Trade Lane (STL, IoT Asset Tracking), a joined Program with Maersk. IBM STL was a new comprehensive global logistics information platform that gives global supply-chain stakeholders access to information on-demand, allowing real-time access and response to physical cargo monitoring data as well as the related logistics transaction data
After graduating with a Diplom (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering ( Microtechnology & Electromechanical Systems) at the Technical University of Darmstadt, I started my career at IBM as Development Engineer Disc Testing. After 1 year I became part of the IBM Management High Potential program, soon after being appointed to Manager IBM Disc Manufacturing. Within his 7 years working for the IBM Storage division, I held numerous Production, Process Automation, Testing, and Engineering-Management roles.
